The recrystallized ceramic beam we produced is made by alpha silicon carbide powder,sintered under 2400 celsius after molding,the SIC purity is more than 99%,no other combining phase,with high strength under high temperature,the recrystallized ceramic beam is suitable for shuttle kiln.Our company have accumulated and summarized much recrystallized ceramic beam application experience according to continue research for many years,of course there are still many problems need us to explore.In a word,the practice application of recrystallized ceramic beams still need continuous research,in order to get scientific and proper application in the sintering process of the ceiling kiln and shuttle kiln,to make the producers and users of the recrystallized silicon carbide beams reach a consensus and promote scientific and technological progress.

Characteristics of recrystallized silicon carbide ceramic beam:

1.Recrystallized silicon carbide ceramic beam with high temperature resistance,it can keep natural temperature strength under high temperature,even slightly elevated.The bending strength is 80~100MPa under 20℃,and 90~110MPa under 1400℃,that’s the experiment test data,so this kind of material is more suitable for high temperature bearing parts.

2.Corrosion resistance,in the acidic medium,even in high temperature acidic environment,such as boiling HCl、H2SO4、HNO3, liquated KClO3、KNO3,it can both bearing and no reaction.

3.Good thermal conductivity,the thermal conductivity of recrystallized ceramic beam is 28W/m·K,better than alumina,oxide bonded silicon carbide,forsterite porcelain,mullite etc.So for recrystallized ceramic beam,good thermal conductivity can reduce thermal shock and improve thermal shock resistance.

4.Recrystallized ceramic beam has low coefficient of thermal expansion,with an average of 4.8×10-6 /℃,lower than alumina porcelain,electrical porcelain,magnesia porcelain etc.

5.Good oxidation resistance,and more oxidation resistance than other non-oxide ceramics.When the component beam is using under high temperature,the surface silicon carbide is oxidized to form a SiO2 film,the film is delayed and reduced the oxidation rate,that’s compared with other non-oxide ceramics,but in fact,the recrystallized ceramic beam still has to be oxidized,and getting worse and worse,so we should clear understanding that oxidation resistance is just for relative slow oxidation.
